Power of positivity

                                                       Power of positivity

I'm walking to school taking the longest way my mum is always asking why I'm taking the longer path I say it's because cross country is coming up but it's really because the faster way is going past Jordan's house.Jordan is my school bully he is big tall fat snotty and always wears baggy long clothes.he is always pushing me around calling me names taking my lunch and breaking my glasses. I'm short and skinny with curly blond hair with glasses. As I walk through the gate hoping Jordan wouldn't be leaning against the wall him and all his mates are always leaning against.Just as I wish that there he is with all his mates laughing at me I just look down well I'm walking past I fell a pull on my shirt color I amediently know who it is.hello ompalompa he says he pushes me and breaths in my face I get up and walk to class well him and his mates are laughing and laughing. I felt like crying and crying. After school I had my friend Jesse over I told him about Jordan he said I should tell him to stop and say how I felt so I walked past his house the next day and he came out smiling  I asked him if I could talk to him right now alone.sure he says.I don't like it when you push me and breathe in my face can you please stop I say. He’s silent for about 8 seconds then smiles again ok I smile and he says we better get to school yeah I say so we walk to school chatting away.we get in the gate and his friends look so confused.

  1. TeKira this is awesome! I totally felt like I was riding the wave with the short, skinny, blonde haired boy. I am so glad that his friend gave hime the courage to sort out the bully. More often than not words are the most powerful.
Clearly doing our detailed brainstorm worked wonders. You had so many great ideas and pulled them together perfectly. If you read back through this what do you notice you need to do? Think about your writing goal.
I am really impressed with this TeKira, keep it up.

  3. TeKira, this is fantastic, I totally agree with Miss Hanna, I was in the moment. I could picture the bully and you walking past him. I like how you describe him 'big fat snotty and always wears baggy long clothes'. I like how you have also linked the power of positivity and keeping ourselves safe with standing up to the bully. Not being aggressive but assertive. Well done, keep this up. #fantastic, #descriptive, #personalvoice, #agoodstory, #keepingyourselfsafe, #standingupforyourself, #wearesoveryproudofyou
